GEORGE F. SCHNELL JR. of Glendale died on Thursday, January 19, at the age of 85. A native of Brooklyn, he was the beoved husband of Evelyn (nee Stieger) and devoted father of Maryann and Edward Schnell. He is also survived by three grandchildren. Services were offered at George Werst Funeral Home, 71- 41 Cooper Ave., Glendale, by Pastor David Demera, followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, L.I.

JOSEPH KNAU died on Sunday, January 22, at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband of Gina, loving father of Michael and Assunta, Ronald and Pat and Joseph and cherished grandfather of Michael, Daniel, Stephen and Laurie. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, January 25, at Ascension Church, Elmhurst, followed by interment at Cypress Hills Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

LEOCADIA REVUELTA died on Saturday, January 21, at the age of 96. She was the wife of the late Zoilo, loving mother ofMarthaMayo, Jorge Fabre and the late Ernesto Revuelta and cherished grandmother of Maritza, Michael, Jorge, Gisela, Hector, Ernesto, Celia and Ivette. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Tuesday, January 24, at St. Mary’s Church, Woodside, followed by interment at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

THEO WALTER died on Thursday, January 19, at the age of 72. He was the beloved wife of Josefa and a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. Services were offered on Saturday, Jan. 21, at Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village.

UGO VERZELLA died on Tuesday, January 10, at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of Jennie. Services were offered on Monday, January 23, at Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth, followed by interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens.

PAVEL KECI of Ridgewood died on Thursday, January 19, at the age of 80. Anative of Begac, Yugoslavia, he was the beloved husband of Maria Purkar. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, followed by interment at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village.

ROBERT PODOLAK of Ridgewood died on Sunday, January 15, at the age of 50. A native of Przemysl, Poland, he was the dear brother of Jan Podolak and Beata Niema. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Matthias Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at Sanktuarium Mekl Panskiej Cemetery, Poland, under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood.

LENORE L. KULICH of Venice, Fla., died on Sunday, January 15, at the age of 91. A native of Queens, she was the wife of the late Theodore and devoted mother of Deanna Condon and Kevin Kulich. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, by Rev. Michael T. Ross, followed by interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens.

EUGENE A. GOLLUB of San Pedro, Calif. died on Wednesday, January 4, at the age of 77. A native of New York, he was the beloved husband of Patricia and devoted father of Laura Gollub. He was a U.S. Armed Forces veteran.
