JACKSON HEIGHTS — A two-alarm fire raged through a Jackson Heights apartment building Sunday that left two people with minor injuries, an FDNY spokesman said Tuesday.
The blaze, which was still under investigation as of Tuesday, started at 12:52 a.m Sunday on the second floor of an apartment building, at 37-39 90th St. in Jackson Heights, and spread to the attic, the spokesman said.
The fire reached a second alarm at 1:28 a.m. and was brought under control at 2:08 a.m., the spokesman said.
About 106 firefighters from 25 units responded to the fire, the spokesman said.
Two people suffered minor injuries in the blaze, the spokesman said.
