ASTORIA — A Woodside man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly burglarizing an ex-girlfriend’s apartment and threatening to kill her and her son, police said.
Damion Jackson, 41, of 31-07 49th St. in Woodside, was charged with burglary Tuesday after police said he allegedly entered an ex-girlfriend’s apartment at noon Sunday by breaking the fire escape window with a brick.
After entering the apartment, Jackson allegedly grabbed a meat cleaver from the kitchen and made several threats to kill his 39-year-old ex-girlfriend and her 24-year-old son, police said.
Jackson eventually put down the meat cleaver and fled the apartment on foot, police said.
