Paramedics and police officers from the 114th Precinct rushed to a Long Island City intersection on Monday afternoon, Feb. 13, after a 17-year-old male was struck and injured by a passing car, authorities said. Reportedly, the accident occurred at around 4:05 p.m. at the corner of Northern Boulevard and 33rd Street. The injured male was rushed by EMS units to a local hospital for treatment of a head injury; his prognosis was not disclosed.
