Suspects Sought For Woodhaven Attack

Three men who invaded a Woodhaven home at gunpoint last month and beat up a pair of residents remain at large, according to police.

The suspects involved in a recent home invasion in Woodhaven, as well as their getaway car, are pictured in these surveillance camera images obtained by police.

Law enforcement sources said the suspects-described as Hispanic males, each believed to be 25 years of age-forced their way inside a home on 75th Street near 88th Road at around 7:05 a.m. on Feb. 18.

With one of the suspects displaying a black revolver, police said, the trio entered the residence and confronted and assaulted a pair of unidentified victims, punching them about the body.

During the assault, the home invaders reportedly attempted to remove property from the residence and the victims, then fled. The crooks were last observed entering inside a black GMC Acadia that drove away in an unknown direction.

Members of the 102nd Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a report of the robbery. Each of the victims suffered minor injuries.

One of the suspects was described by police as standing at 5’9″-tall and weighing about 220 lbs. with a muscular build, a medium complexion and a shaved head.

Police said the second perpetrator stands at 5’10”-tall, weighs about 180 lbs. and has a medium skin tone. Reportedly, he was last observed wearing a black baseball cap and a black waist-length jacket.

The third bandit was described by authorities as standing at 6′-tall, weighing about 180 lbs. with a medium complexion who was spotted wearing a black waist-length jacket and a multi-colored bandana.

The investigation is being conducted by the NYPD Queens Robbery Squad, with Detectives Sean Roche and Ronald Buell assigned to the case.
