THERESA CIRAOLO died on Thursday, February 23, at the age of 89. She was the wife of the late Joseph Ciraolo, loving mother of Peter Ciraolo and Anna Guidice, mother-in-law of Georgianne and Philip and cherished grandmother of Jennifer and Lauren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Tuesday, February 28, at St. Sebastian’s Church, Woodside, followed by interment at Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery, Flushing, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

JOAN MARIE ROSBECK died on Wednesday, February 22, at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of Robert E. Rosbeck, loving mother of Lynn Pope and the late Janice McIntyre, mother-in-law of Charles and Jim, cherished grandmother of Andrew, Brian, Christopher, Michael and John and dear sister of Marilyn Bertotti. She was also a former secretary at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Maspeth. Services were offered on Sunday, February 26, and Monday, February 27, at Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth, followed by interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

ADELINE RIES died on Thursday, February 23, at the age of 93. She was the wife of the late George W. Ries Sr., loving mother of George W. Ries Jr., mother-in-law of Susan, cherished grandmother of Michelle, Jacqueline and George W. Ries III and great-grandmother of Amanda, Ashley, Andrew, Anthony, Dylann and Gavan. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, February 25, at St. Mary’s Church, Woodside, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

RICHARD GIZOWSKI of Ridgewood died on Tuesday, February 21, at the age of 86. Anative of Chicago, he was the fond friend of Mary Elfers devoted father of Valerie Anelli and Stan and loving grandfather of Michael. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II. He was interred at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, L.I., under the direction of Peter J. Geis Funeral Home, 57-34 Catalpa Ave., Ridgewood.

OLGA KRISCH of Ridgewood died on Monday, February 27, at the age of 90. Anative of Benthal, Gottschee, Yugoslavia, she was the wife of the late Friedrich and dear sister of Sophie Hoefinger. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village.

SOPHIE GASLEVICH of Ridgefield, Conn. died on Sunday, February 12, at the age of 87. A native of Yugoslavia, she was the wife of the late Peter and devoted mother of Brigette Capobianco. She is also survived by one grandchild, one greatgrandchild and several great-grandchildren. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, by Rev. Thomas Goodhart.

SALUSTIANO CRUZ of Long Island City died on Thursday, February 16, at the age of 54. A native of Queens, he was the beloved husband ofAnna Gonzalez and devoted father of William Cruz. He is also survived by two grandchildren. VIRGINIA VAN SCHAICK of Ridgewood died onMonday, February 20, at the age of 52. Anative of Brooklyn, she was the devoted mother of Jeneane Morales, Joseph Morales and Theresa Morales and dear sister of Nancy Fillion, CatherineVan Schaick, Mary Van Schaick, Joan Tomaselli, Florence Schwab, Diane DiBiasi, Donna Braun, Gloria Rhaditgan, ThomasVan Schaick and Howard Van Schaick. She is also survived by four grandchildren. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 GrandviewAve., Ridgewood, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village.

GUSTAV GOLLISZ of Glendale died on Monday, February 27, at the age of 78. A native of Guessing, Austria, he was the beloved husband of Pauline (nee Rielich) and devoted father of Gustav and John Gustav Gollisz and Elizabeth Pallone. He is also survived by grandchildren Jillian Pallone and Stefan and Renee Gollisz. A private cremation was held at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, under the direction of George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave., Glendale.

THOMAS TESTA of Middle Village and Las Vegas died on Friday, February 17, at the age of 82. A proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was the beloved husband of Marie, devoted father of Marie Ann, Joanne, Kathleen Vincent, Connie McManus and Thomas and dear brother of Connie, Warren, William and Sally Star. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one greatgranddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Stanislaus Church, Maspeth, followed by interment at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I., under the direction of Hess-Miller Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village.
