Prominent women from around Queens were honored last Friday, Mar. 9, by Rep. Joseph Crowley for their contributions to the community at a Women’s History Month ceremony at Dazie’s Restaurant in Sunnyside. As noted the honorees included Eileen Reilly, executive director of Maspeth Town Hall; Luna Ranjit, executive director of Adhikaar in Woodside; and Assemblywoman Catherine Nolan, who also served as the keynote speaker. The honorees are shown with Representative Crowley and other notable guests, including Assemblymen Michael DenDekker and Francisco Moya; Assemblywoman Grace Meng and City Council Members Elizabeth Crowley, Karen Koslowitz and Jimmy Van Bramer.
