Anshe Sholom Chabad JCC of Kew Gardens celebrated Shabbat Across America on Friday, Mar. 2. The nationwide program, created by the National Jewish Outreach Program, is intended to introduce beginners to the Jewish rituals of the “day of rest.” At right is Rabbi Mordechai Hecht; at far left is his daughter Liba.
