Free Breast Cancer Screening

The American Italian Cancer Foundation and Councilmember Peter Vallone Jr. will co-host a free breast-cancer screening event in Astoria on Tuesday, April 17. A mobile van will be parked outside the councilmember’s office, located at 22-45 31stStreet. Medical services will be provided by Multi-Diagnostic Service. Eligible women must be at least 40 years old, have a New York mailing address and have not had a mammogram in the past 12 months. Appointments are necessary.
