McDonald’s is offering community groups in Queens the opportunity to apply for funding for projects promoting responsible eating choices.
From now until June 1, nonprofits can visit the McDonald’s New York Metro Nutrition Network’s website, at mcdnymetronutritionnetwork.com, to download a grant application.
Projects will be evaluated on their nutritional focus, impact on the community, longevity, creativity and the organization’s past successes.
McDonald’s will be awarding five $5,000 grants in the New York metro area.
