Teenage girl, 15, shot in torso in Brookville

BROOKVILLE — A 15-year-old girl was shot in the torso early Saturday morning, according to police.

The girl, whose name was not released, was near Rockaway and Brookville boulevards at around 1:15 a.m. when officers responded, the NYPD said.

She was transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital, police said. As of press time Tuesday, no arrests had been made, police said.
