The annual New York City summer meals program, which runs from June 28 to August 31, offers free breakfast and lunch to ages 18 and under, and to all handicapped people who participate in special education programs.
To take part in the program, no application is needed and participants do not need to be enrolled in summer school or even be a New York City resident.
Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., and lunch is served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. On weekends, only lunch is served.
