JOSEPH V. HELLMANN SR. died
on Friday, August 24, at the age of
92. He was the beloved husband of
Marie Louise Hellmann, loving father of Joseph V. Hellmann Jr., James
Hellmann and Marie Louise Stine,
cherished grandfather of Kenneth,
James, Suzanne Robinson, Kathleen
Mauceri, Joseph, Lorraine Murray,
MaryBeth, Colleen, Raymond Stine
and Aaron Stine, great-grandfather of
Faith, Isabella, Justin, Kaydence,
Abigail, Olivia and Harry and dear
brother of the late Ted and John. He
was also a World War II Army veteran. A Mass of Christian Burial was
offered on Monday, August 27, at St.
Margaret Church, Middle Village,
followed by interment at St. John
Cemetery, Middle Village, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

ELAINE FOLEY died on Friday,
August 24, at the age of 74. She was
the loving mother of Anna Trinchillo,
John Rose, Theresa Rose, Michael
Rose and the late Kevin Rose, dear
sister of Anna Macklin, Evelyn Barckow, Barbara Macklin, Shirley
Murray, Beatrice Reid and John
Macklin and cherished grandmother
of nine grandchildren. Services were
offerd on Monday, August 27, at Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand
Ave., Maspeth, followed by interment at Sacramento Vallet National
Cemetery, Dixon, Calif.

LILLIAN A. MONARCH of Glendale died on Saturday, August 25, at
the age of 85. She was the wife of the
late Roy Monarch Jr., devoted
mother of the late Roy Monarch III
and Marcia Monarch-King, motherin law of John, loving grandmother
of Jon-Anthony and Kristen Lee
King and dear sister of Dorothy
Maack. Services were offered at
Hess-Miller Funeral Home, 64-19
Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village,
followed by cremation at Fresh Pond
Crematory, Middle Village.

VASILE CURELARIU of Middle
Village died on Saturday, August 25,
at the age of 83. A native of Forasti,
Romania, he was the beloved husband of Felicia, devoted father of
Calin Curelarlu and dear brother of
Stefan Curelarlu, Ion Curelarlu and
Gheorghe Curelarlu. He is also survived by one grandchild. Services

of Ridgewood died on Thursday, August 23, at the age of 83. A native of
Ridgewood, he was the son of the late
Peter Alexandro and Katherine Steinhardt and dear brother of Katherine
Policano and Barbara Ray and the
late Ann Pizzo, Dottie O’Donnell,
Helen Marencil. He is survived by
many nieces and nephews. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered at St.
Matthias Church, Ridgewood, followed

by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Peter J. Geis Funeral Home,
