How – and why – in 2012 would someone do something so heinous?
Bashir Ahmad was just minding his business, opening up his local mosque, when a cruel and heartless attacker jumped him from behind, leaving the innocent man with staples in his leg and stitches in his thumb, forehead, the top of his head and back.
Cops are now investigating the incident as a hate crime.
To his credit, Ahmad has not let his faith be shaken, and has even expressed forgiveness toward his attacker.
And to whoever did this, we say, TURN YOURSELF IN. You have a lot to learn about tolerance, equality and true religion.
