Police are looking for a man who burglarized several Queens businesses by breaking in through the stores’ rooftops.
The first incident took place at 3 a.m. on December 24, at a Rite Aid located at 47-07 Broadway in Astoria. He cut a hole through the roof of the drugstore, but did not enter the business. A couple hours later, he gained entrance to Zac Deli at 48-16 Broadway using the same method, but managed to steal merchandise and cash before fleeing.
On December 31, at about 2:00 a.m., he also stole merchandise from the Stop and Go at 53-11 Broadway in Woodside.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’7″ to 5’11” tall and was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a “G-Unit” logo on the front, white and orange Air Max Nike sneakers and dark colored jeans.
