JURGEN HERTLER died on Sunday, December 30, 2012. He was the
beloved husband of Carol (nee Vuocolo), loving father of Richard and
Therese, Christopher and Caterina
and Eric and Emily, proud grandfather of Alexander, Elizabeth, Ema
and Ethan and dear brother of Klaus.
Jurgen spent over 30 years as a partner with his son, Richard, in owning
J. Hertler & Sons Plumbing & Heating and a former partner of Pro Line
Archery in Ozone Park. He was an
avid outdoorsman and hunter, enjoying the pasttime with his three sons
and many friends. Services were offered at Trinity Reformed Church,
Ridgewood, by Rev. Thomas Goodhart, followed by interment at
Calverton National Cemetery,
Calverton, L.I., under the direction of
Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home, 61-40
Woodhaven Blvd., Rego Park.

CHARLES POLLACK of Glendale died on Wednesday, January 16,
at the age of 55. A native of Brooklyn, he was the beloved husband of

DONALD E. RICHARD of Ridgewood died on Saturday, January 19,
at the age of 79. A native of Brooklyn, he was the devoted father of Terrence Richard and Donald Richard
Jr. and dear companion of Evelyn

MARCO ANTONIO VARGAS of
Ridgewood died on Monday, January
14, at the age of 37. A native of
Brooklyn, he was the beloved husband of Brigitte Seda Vargas, devoted father of Marco Vargas, Briana
Vargas and Adalis Vargas, loving son
of Maria Camacho Vargas and dear
brother of Lillian Vargas, Debbie
Vargas, Cesar Vargas and Rachel

DJORDJE CUCU SR. of Ridgewood died on Wednesday, January
16, at the age of 79. A native of
Vladimirovic, Yugoslavia, he was the
husband of the late Marija and devoted father of Sava Cucu and
Djordje Cucu. He is also survived by
five grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Services were offered

PEGGY ORTNER of Ridgewood
died on Sunday, January 13, at the
age of 58. A native of Ridgewood,
she was the daughter of the late Peter
and Marge and dear sister of Jim,
Barbara and Vito Punzi and the late
Robert. A wake will be held on Friday, January 18, from 2 to 5 p.m. and
from 7 to 9 p.m. at Peter J. Geis Funeral Home, 57-34 Catalpa Ave.,
