JACKSON HEIGHTS — Police were looking for help in identifying and arrested three suspects wanted in connection with a robbery within the 115th Precinct, the NYPD said.
According to police, three suspects approached the Elegance Jewelry Store Dec. 19 around 2 p.m. After entering, a 25- to 30-year-old man with a medium build, blue jeans, black waist-length coat, a light colored hat and glasses held the door open for two other masked suspects, then remained outside acting as a lockout.
Once inside, police said two men between 25 and 30-years-old displayed a black firearm, forced the store employees to the rear of the store and smashed display counters. They removed about $80,000 in jewelry and fled, the NYPD said.
Police described the second suspect as wearing blue jeans, a brown waist-length blazer, a beige hat and brown shoes. The third suspect, police said, had a black leather jacket, black pants and a black hat with a “Mitchell and Ness” logo.
