Robbery suspect from Queens arrested in N.J.: Police

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, N.J. — A suspect wanted in connection with eight violent robberies of Asians in East Harlem between Jan. 17 and Jan. 26 was arrested as he was traveling on a bus in New Jersey and is currently awaiting extradition to be formally charged, the NYPD said.

Police allege Jason Commisso, 34, of Queens, robbed and assaulted eight separate victims in East Harlem apartment buildings after following them into elevators.

The NYPD said all victims were treated at area hospitals for facial injuries.
