The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in apprehending three suspects wanted in connection to 12 grand larcenies that occurred in multiple locations across Queens between August 9 and February 28.
During the incidents, victims are approached by one of the suspects who distracts the victims usually by informing them that their cars have a flat tire. When the victims go to inspect the damage, the other suspects removes property from inside of the vehicles.
Two of the suspects were caught on video during the latest incident, at approximately 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 28 in a parking lot along Northern Boulevard.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto Crime Stoppers’ website at or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577.
