HELEN M. WOISIN of Glendale
died on Sunday, March 31, at the age
of 88. She was the wife of the late
Robert and devoted mother of Susan
King, Eileen Cocchini, Denise
Fincher, Jeannine Lotito, James,
Kenneth Voisin and Craig. She is also
survived by 22 grandchildren and 15
great-grandchildren. She was a graduate

of Bishop McDonnell Memorial
High School, a devoted member of
St. Matthias Church for over 60 years
and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. Rose
of Lima Chapter 757, for over 65
years. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, April 13, at 9 a.m.
at St. Matthias Church, Ridgewood.

HORST MEYER of Glendale died
on Tuesday, March 26, at the age of
72. A native of Germany, he was the
beloved husband of Linda Meyer, devoted father of Robert Meyer and
Diane Wurzer, dear brother of Herbert Meyer and cherished grandfather
of Thomas Wurzer. A private cremation was held at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, under the
direction of George Werst Funeral

She was the beloved wife of Vincenzo Falzarano, loving mother of
Carmelina Falzarano and Vita Maria
D’Angelo, mother-in-law of Vincenzo, cherished grandmother of
Santino, devoted daughter of Vita and
the late Francesco Cimilluca and dear
sister of Angela Ambrosio, Nicolo

MARY V. ROONEY died on
Wednesday, March 27, at the age of
99. She was the wife of the late James
Rooney and cherished aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. She was
also beloved by many friends and
neighbors. She was a longtime
parishioner of Transfiguration
Church, Maspeth, serving as rectory
cook and member of the Golden Age
and St. Ann’s societies. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, March 30, at Transfiguration
Church, followed by interment at St.

died on Friday, March 29, at the age
of 88. A native of Waltenham, Germany, she was the wife of the late

MAJOR MARTIN L. KAMMERER
of Renton, Wash. died on Sunday,
March 17, at the age of 87. A native
of Rapid City, S.D., he was the
beloved husband of Catherine A. He
was also a life-long member of the
U.S. Air Force. A Mass of Christian
Burial was offered at St. Stephen’s
the Martyr R.C. Church, Renton,
Wash. Services were offered at
graveside with full military honors at
West Point Cemetery on the grounds
of the U.S. Military Academy, West
Point, under the direction of Morton

Vegas died on Monday, March 25, at
the age of 96. A native of Brooklyn,
she was the wife of the late Philip and
