THOMAS DONOVAN died suddenly on Saturday, April 27. He is
survived by his mother Catherine
Donovan of Middle Village and was
the beloved brother of Colleen Donovan and her husband, Jim Padula, of
Riverside, Conn.; and Cathyann and
her husband Jim Tully of Holmdel,
N.J. He was also the loving uncle of
Jimmy and Danny Tully and Jamie
and Scott Padula. An alumni of Holy
Cross High School, Flushing (Class
of 1984) he graduated from the St.
John’s University School of Pharmacy in 1989, where he went on to
complete his MBA two years later.
He was an active member in the
Ridgewood Business and Property
Associations and a proud member of
his beloved Knights. He was interred
at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Hillebrand Funeral Homes, 63-17
Woodhaven Blvd., Rego Park. In lieu
of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Cross High
School, 26-20 Francis Lewis Blvd.,
Flushing, NY 11358, Attn: Advancement Office.

PATRICIA GRAPEL of Middle
Village died on Friday, April 26, at
the age of 54. She was the loving
daughter of Helen and the late
Charles, dear sister of Barbara Esposito and sister-in-law of Thomas.
She was also a member of the Holy
Innocents Society of St. Matthias
Church in Ridgewood. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered at Our
Lady of the Miraculous Medal
Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at Long Island National
Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I., under
the direction of Hess-Miller Funeral

EMMA STALZER of Middle Village died on Tuesday, April 23, at the
age of 84. A native of Gottschee, Yugoslavia, she was the wife of the late
Karl Stalzer, devoted mother of Stefanie Roemer, Roland Stalzer, Edmund Stalzer and John Stalzer, dear
sister of Stephanie, Maria, Robert
and the late Frank and cherished
grandmother of Robert, Thomas,
Kerri, Matthew, Johnathan, Natalie
and Emily. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Margaret
Church, Middle Village, followed by
interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y., under the direction of George Werst Funeral

ROY JOHN MUHLHAUSER died
on Monday, April 22, at the age of 65.
He was the beloved husband of
Norma, loving father of Lauren
Nicole, dear brother of Bruce and
Helen, Eric and Theda and Charles,
and brother-in-law of Carlo and
Pinto, Arturo and Victor and
Veronique. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass

was the beloved wife of Milan Svilar,
loving mother of Jack Svilar, William
Svilar and Donyal Svilar, mother-inlaw of Dawn and Thomas, cherished

and Nadja and dear sister of Stijepo,
Olga, Danica and Desa. Services

age of 85. A native of Brooklyn, she

died on Monday, April 15, at the age
