Three students from Christ the King Regional High School in Middle Village were chosen as winners of the Police Athletic League’s annual “Police Commissioner for a Day” essay contest. As noted, Ashley Biondo, Dominik Makocki and Krystale Salvati will be paired with members of the Police Department’s executive corps, borough and precinct commanders for a day to learn more about the city’s law enforcement efforts.
