Police seek suspect in Astoria bike theft [With Video]

ASTORIA — Cops were looking to put the breaks on a suspect who allegedly made off with a woman’s bike, the NYPD said.

Police said the suspect, described as a Hispanic man, ran up to the woman outside a deli near the corner of 35th Street and 34th Avenue around 11 a.m. June 17 and stole her gray and black Jamis bicycle.

Surveillance video released by the police show the wanted man walking on the sidewalk and then allegedly riding away on the bike, according to cops.
