Robbery suspects took $60K from Rockaway bar: Police

ROCKAWAY PARK — Police said a trio in blackface masks allegedly tied up three people in Wharf Bar and Grill, at 416 Beach 116th St., pistol whipped two victims and stole $60,000 in cash at 1:40 a.m. Feb. 3.

The NYPD said one of the suspects allegedly struck a person in the head with a firearm. A second victim was hit with a gun to the head in an office on the second floor, according to police.

Both victims went to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital with minor injuries.

The three suspects allegedly made off with $60,000 in cash, an iPhone and an Android, according to police.
