Hungry for a taste of summer?
A Brooklyn supper club is promising to warm guests’ stomachs with flavors from the Rockaway Peninsula Thursday evening.
Rockaway Taco owner Andrew Field and the rest of the folks from the popular seasonal eatery, at 95-19 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, will be dishing out a Mexican menu at The South Side Supper Club, at 160 Havemeyer St., Feb. 20 starting at 7 p.m.
Hot-boiled peanuts, shrimp cocktail and chorizo sausage and cotjia cheese sopes, tortilla-shaped cakes traditionally made from corn masa, are all slated to be served. Beer from Long Island City-based Rockaway Brewing Co. will also be available, according to the club’s website.
The cost to attend is $45 per person.
