Elmhurst Church Burns Paid Mortgage

Fr. Russell Governale of St. Adalbert Church in Elmhurst was happy to announce his parish is debt free. To mark the occasion he celebrated by burning the mortgage, which through charity and community donations was paid off 12 years earlier than expected. The church was $2 Million in debt.
