Woodside Scouts’ Day at Museum

Cub Scout Pack 390 of Woodside recently participated in the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum’s STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) based Scouts Day. During their visit to the retired naval carrier on the Hudson River in Manhattan, the scouts saw the Space Shuttle Enterprise, experimented with handson science stations and completed a scavenger hunt to earn a commemorative patch. The scouts are pictured standing in front of the Enterprise, which went on display at the Intrepid in 2012.
