No one was injured after a one-alarm fire broke out in a Glendale home last Saturday afternoon, Mar. 29, it was reported. Fire Department sources said the blaze ignited at about 2:38 p.m. on the first-floor of the residence in the vicinity of 60th Lane and 80th Avenue. Responding to the scene (listed in order of arrival) were Engine companies 233, 277 and 291; Squad comapnies 252 and 288; Ladder companies 135, 176 and 112; Rescue 4; and Battalions 28 and 37-under the direction of Division 14-along with the 104th Precinct and EMS units. One hose line was used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, an FDNY source said.
