Lic Street Fair a Big Hit

Assemblywoman Catherine Nolan stopped by the Long Island City BID’s Long Island City Springs street fair on Vernon Boulevard Saturday, May 17. This first ever Long Island City community block party brought together all the wonderful businesses, artist groups and community groups that Long Island City has to offer. The party went from 1 to 6 p.m. on Vernon Boulevard between 46th and 50th avenues. Nolan is pictured with Sheila Lewandowski, executive director, The Chocolate Factory and representatives from the Long Island City YMCA.
