City Council Member Eric Ulrich, Chair of the City Council Veterans Committee, joined the New York Mets in honoring Breezy Point resident Thomas Sullivan during the game on Saturday, June, 14. Sullivan is an Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve who served two tours in Iraq. He received a standing ovation and was presented with an American Flag by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords immediately following the third inning.
