Lions Help Local Scout Earn Her Silver

The Ravenswood Lions helped Maspeth Girl Scout Mary Vavruska of Troop 4618 in Maspeth with her Silver Award project. Mary was trying to earn a Silver Award, the second highest award for Girl Scouts, by collecting supplies for American Servicemen deployed overseas. The Ravenswood Lions generously donated to help Mary’s project.
