Bushwick Fall Fest Celebrates Diversity

Bushwick residents enjoyed a multicultural fall celebration during Calabazafest held on Sunday, Oct. 26, at Maria Hernandez Park. Sponsored by EcoStation: NY and the Bushwick Farmers Market, the festivities were a blend of traditional American and Latin American celebrations of Halloween and the Day of the Dead. The games and entertainment included a mariachi band performance, as pictured above.
