Assemblyman Phil Goldfeder announced the open application period for the Citizens Committee for New York’s Neighborhood Grant program, which provides up to $3,000 in awards to local groups for projects aimed at improving their communities. Projects eligible for the funding range from community gardens and fine arts programs to composting and tenant organizing. The deadline for this round of applications is Jan. 26, 2015.
