Members of the Liberty Park Home Owners Association (LPHOA) honored their long-time president and vice president during the group’s Dec. 2 meeting at the Serbian Association of New York in Glendale for their years of civic service. Thomas Murawski and James Holt served as president and vice president, respectively, for many years before announcing their resignations from the posts earlier this year. Taking their place are Mike Leandra, the LPHOA’s new president, and David Sands, the new vice president and former organization treasurer. The group’s new leaders, along with LPHOA Secretary Barbara Lombardi, presented Murawski and Holt with plaques as tokens of the organization’s gratitude. Pictured at the award presentation are (from left to right) Sands, Holt, Leandra, Murawski and Lombardi.
