A pair of robbers assaulted a 73-year-old man as he was walking down a South Richmond Hill street before stealing his necklace and fleeing in an SUV, cops said.
The attack happened about 6 p.m. on May 20 along 125th Street near 107th Avenue.
According to police, the victim was walking down the roadway when two men approached him from behind, and punched him and pushed him to the ground. The duo then grabbed the chain from around his neck and ran down 125th Street toward 109th Avenue, where they escaped in a white SUV.
