Police are searching for a man who allegedly struck a pedestrian in the head with a blunt object on an Astoria street last month.
The suspect approached the 34-year-old male victim in front of 36-49 34th Street, on June 17th at approximately 2:45 pm, and struck the victim in the head with an unknown object, according to the NYPD.
The victim suffered a laceration to his head and was taken to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment.
Police released a surveillance video of the suspect, who has dark hair, shown wearing a dark colored tank top, as he strikes the victim.
