LONG ISLAND CITY – A 35-year-old man jumped to his death from a Court Square luxury apartment building Monday night, an NYPD spokesman said.
The police were called to the Madison, located at 42-77 Hunter St., around 9:30 p.m., according to the FDNY. They discovered the man lying face up on the street.
The man, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Emergency Services Unit.
An employee of the building told the New York Post the man worked in finance, kept to himself and had recently moved from Canada.
