Man shot and killed in Jamaica: NYPD

A man was gunned down in broad daylight in Jamaica Saturday. It was just after noon when police from the 103rd Precinct, responding to a 911 call, discovered a man in his 30s lying unconscious and unresponsive at the intersection of 107th Avenue and 164th Street.

The victim had two gunshot wounds to the face. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene at 12:15 p.m. The identity of the victim is pending family notification.

There are no arrests and the investigation was ongoing.
