The second teen who was shot in Rosedale on Halloween night succumbed to his injuries Wednesday afternoon at Jamaica Hospital, according to authorities.
Marcus Mendez, 18, was shot in the leg and torso on Oct. 31 at 240-15 144th Ave.in Rosedale.
Police found Mendez and 19-year-old Peyton Manwaring at the scene after responding to a call of two males shot at about 8:53 p.m.
Both teens were taken to Jamaica Hospital, where Manwaring— who was shot in the torso— was pronounced dead the night of the incident.
On Monday, the NYPD released photos of two men they are looking to question in regards to the shooting. Both suspects were last seen wearing black hooded sweatshirts and through surveillance video were observed to be following the victim immediately before the shooting.
