Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a bank branch in Forest Hills on Monday afternoon and made off with $2,600.
According to cops, the suspect–described as a 5’10,” 200-pound white man– entered the Astoria Bank at 97-33 Queens Blvd. at 4:33 p.m. and allegedly passed a note to a teller demanding money.
The teller then passed $2,600 over to the man who proceeded to flee on foot in an unknown direction after the encounter.
