Police are asking the public’s assistance to locate two men wanted for a stabbing outside of Chubby Burgers & Chicken in Astoria earlier this month.
At about 4 a.m. on Feb. 2, police said, two suspects got into an altercation with a man outside of 25-97 Steinway St. One of the suspects brandished a knife and stabbed the victim in the torso. He, along with another man, fled the location.
The victim was transported to Mount Sinai Queens and treated for his injuries.
One bandit is described as a black or Hispanic male, approximately 20 years old, standing 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing 140 to 200 pounds. His accomplice was last seen wearing a red hat, blue jeans and black jacket.
