The TimesLedger Newspapers erroneously reported that U.S. Attorney Preet Bahara told the Queens Civic Congress Sunday that his crusade against corrupt politicians would make news “in the next couple of weeks.” After listening to an audio tape of his remarks, the reporter who covered the story realized that Bahara was referring to the sentencings of former Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos “in the next couple of weeks.”
