Police are asking the public’s help in finding a man who robbed a female cab driver on a Richmond Hill street last month.

Authorities said the trouble began at 3:30 a.m. on April 13, when the driver picked up the suspect — a white man in his mid-50s standing 5 foot 11 inches tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds —  in front of a location on Jamaica Avenue near 94th Street in Woodhaven.

While inside the vehicle, law enforcement sources said, the perpetrator demanded the driver’s property while en route to the intersection of 105th Street and 91st Avenue in Richmond Hill. After a brief scuffle, police noted, the crook grabbed the driver’s cellphone, tablet and an undetermined amount of cash, then exited from the vehicle on 104th Street on foot.

The incident was reported to the 102nd Precinct; the driver was not seriously injured.

Police said the suspect was last seen wearing a light-colored winter hat and jacket.
