One of the classic October pastimes is carving pumpkins. Soon the internet will be filled with everyone’s pumpkin carving masterpieces. No matter how impressive your friends’ creations may be, RISE of the Jack O’Lanterns will not only blow them out of the water, but they’ll blow your minds as well.
RISE of the Jack O’Lanterns is coming to Old Westbury Gardens throughout the month of October to show off their amazing display of pumpkins. With over 5,000 hand-carved, illuminated jack o’lanterns creatively arranged along a scenic walking path, RISE of the Jack O’Lanterns provides a unique, memorable, family-friendly experience for people of all ages.
“The fall has always been my favorite season,” said Mike Pollock, executive producer of RISE of the Jack O’Lanterns. “We look forward to providing a new and exciting attraction for adults and children of all ages throughout New Jersey, and the New York metro area, to enjoy during Halloween weekend.”
This year, in addition to life-size displays of dinosaurs and dragons and intricate, multi-pumpkin structures, RISE of the Jack O’Lanterns will feature characters from Star Wars, Disney, Peanuts and more. Live carving stations will be set up so visitors can watch their talented artists create the different displays seen in the show.
