Man threatens woman with gun on E train in Jackson Heights

A woman sitting on an E train in Jackson Heights last week was threatened twice by a man carrying a gun, according to police.

On Oct. 14 at 8:40 a.m., a 33-year-old female was on a Manhattan-bound E train near Broadway and Roosevelt Avenue. A man sat next to her and threatened to slap her, according to the NYPD. She moved to another location on the train when the man followed her and lifted his shirt to expose the handle of a gun.

 

The victim left the train and the suspect stayed on. There were no injuries, police said.

The suspect is described as a male in his 30s, approximately 6 feet tall and wearing a black baseball hat, black sneakers, green jacket, and black jeans.
