Mondays strong winds literally blew the roof off a Fresh Meadows gas station.
The Gulf filling station near Horace Harding Expressway and Fresh Meadow Lane had to close Feb. 13 after the cover hung sideways and nearly completely flipped over. No one was hurt in the incident and pumps were closed as a precaution. Winds were recorded at over 50-miles per hour.
