COLLEGE POINT — Police were searching for a suspect in connection with a grand larceny.
According to police, on Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. the 46-year-old victim who lives in the vicinity of Dalian Court and Bay Park Drive in College Point discovered that someone had used his personal information to open a credit card account with American Express.
Police said that according to American Express’ records, the suspect used the credit card Jan. 16 at the Manhattan Bloomingdale’s Department Store to buy over $7,000 worth of merchandise.
Police described the suspect as an Asian woman with a black purse. Police said she was last seen wearing a dark colored coat and a white shirt.
