Police arrest woman wanted for robbing two Forest Hills seniors

Police arrested a 31-year-old woman with a lengthy criminal record for robbing two elderly women in Forest Hills last month.

Nikki Newmark, a Forest Hills resident, was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of robbery, according to police.

The first robbery occurred on April 5 when she allegedly pushed a 70-year-old woman to the ground near Yellowstone Blvd/67th Road and stole her purse.

In the second incident on April 16, Newmark allegedly knocked a 73-year-old woman in the vicinity of Yellowstone Blvd/67th PAvenue to the ground in the process of grabbing her purse from behind.

Police said that Newmark has a criminal record dating back about six years, but did not say what other crimes she committed.
