A Jackson Heights man died on Sunday after he fell down stairs leading to a basement in his home.
Police responded to a 911 call on June 18 at about 6:41 a.m. at 90-03 32 Ave. They found 27-year-old Adrian de la Cruz with trauma to the back of his head after falling down a stairwell.
Emergency Medical Services responded to the call and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The police investigation is ongoing and a NYPD spokesperson said police have not found something “super indicative” of foul play at this point. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
