Cops need the public’s help in finding a man who assaulted a 26-year-old man with a blunt object while riding the F train in Elmhurst last weekend.
Police said the incident took place at 12:50 p.m. on Oct. 29 on a stopped, Jamaica-bound F train at the Woodhaven Boulevard station.
According to law enforcement sources, the suspect repeatedly struck the man’s head with his fists and an unknown object. The motive for the attack remains under investigation.
Paramedics brought the victim to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment of a head laceration.
The NYPD described the assailant as a black man between 50 and 55 years of age, standing between 5 feet and 5 foot 5 inches tall, with short, gray hair.
